Clarissa, a friend from school, came here on Monday and ever brought me some flowers (I told her I was sick).

We went to the movies and also met Bianca, Luis and Binho at night. It was absolutely great to see her again, talk about how vacations were and know all that was going on with people from school. Really, really don't want to go back to classes. Literature without my former Lit teacher will be a big trauma. Though for me not to like it is very hard.

On the following day there was, yet again, another Ibirapuera EP. The cherry on the top of the vacations, really. We sang a lot, and were happy. As usual. Went to a Tarantino Festival later, and finally saw Resevoir Dogs (*.*).

[livejournal.com profile] christycorr unfortunately was able to come to São Paulo, after a whole mexican soup opera. Such a pain. --'

On the other hand, [livejournal.com profile] garotadogelo is here too, and she adopted me as her son (see, I'm Jesus and she's God). *grins*

Oh, yeah. Puppy (from the KP's) is here too. Finally saw her in São Paulo. \o/

Today we met people at Liba for food and Mupy. Long conversations at Franz Café. =)

Die Geschichte vom weinenden Kamel a.k.a. The Story of the Weeping Camel (Germany/Mongolia, 2003) **** - It is, no other words for it, a beautiful film. Not visually, like Hero, but psicologically (though it is visually beautiful as well). Very good documentary. I'm not sure if it deserved the Oscar, though, for I didn't see the other ones.

"Mama, if the baby doesn't get its milk from its mother will it die?" - Ugna (a.k.a. cuttest boy in the world), The Story of the Weeping Camel.

In the Bedroom (USA, 2001) ** - Seriously? Expected ohsomuchmore from this film. I mean, five Oscar nominations, for fuck's sake (not that that means something nowadays)! In the end it is an Oscar film, and that's that. Plot is ok, but not well developed. Again, problem is the script. --'

"Ever notice that even the worst bastards have friends?" Willis Grinnel, In the Bedroom.

Resevoir Dogs (USA, 1992) ***** - Did I ever say that Tarantino is one of mine (if not the) favourite directors? This guy is a bloody genius (in every possible way). Can't believe I had never seeing this film before. Again, Tarantino showed me that he's a master in mixing a lot of blood with a great soundtrack and mind-boggling amazing dialogues. Perfect. Can't say much more. Love it, and that's it.

"- Smoke?
- I quit.
[later]
- What, you got one?"
- Mr. White and Mr. Pink, Resevoir Dogs.

"[Mr. Pink comes and sees that Mr. Orange is shot in the stomach]
- Is it bad?
- As opposed to good?"
- Mr. Pink and Mr. White, Resevoir Dogs.

"Eddie, if you don't stop talking like a bitch, I'm gonna slap you like a bitch." - Mr. Blonde, Resevoir Dogs.

And there are so many more quotes... *sighs* *in love*

For whoever wishes to see my sister, just click here. ;)

She's so cute that I feel like crying.
Well, I've been crying a lot lately. Really a lot. Everything and anything is a reason to burst into tears, but she's really pretty.
Now it's official: I'm getting anxious... :)

I'm pretty confused.
I feel tired, and heavy, and it's too hard to breath...
The point is, once he is actually born, I'll be much more tired... >.

You like bowling, don't you, Montag?

If you don't want a man unhappy politically, don't give him two sides to a question to worry him; give him one. Better yet, give him none. If the government is inefficient, topheavy, and tax-mad, better it be all those than that people worry over it. Peace, Montag. Give the people contests they win by remembering the words to more popular songs or the names of state capitals or how much corn Iowa grew last year. Cram them full of noncombustible data, chock them so damned full of 'facts' they feel stuffed, but absolutely 'brilliant' with information. Then they'll feel like they're thinking, they'll get a sense of motion without moving. And they'll be happy, because facts of that sort don't change. Don't give them any slippery stuff like philosophy or sociology to tie things up with. That way lies melancholy.
